Acupuncturist and Doula
Sage Andreasen (Bach Appl.Sc, TCM) has substantial experience using acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to support natural fertility, gynaecological disorders such as endometriosis and PCOS, IVF cycles, pregnancy and birth, having worked at the Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic in Sydney’s CBD working closely with Jane Lyttleton and a team of dedicated practitioners for over 10 years.
Sage has been studying to be a Doula with Childbirth International after receiving frequent invitations from clients to be present at their births. Sage attended her first birth at the age of 14 and has enjoyed giving birth to 2 children of her own.
Sage is covered by all health funds and is government registered with AHPRA and AACMA. She completed her 4 year full time Bachelor of Science degree (majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine) at the University of Western Sydney which included a 3 month full time internship working in the Jiangsu Provincial hospital in Nanjing, China in 2007 seeing specialised cases in a hospital setting in the fields of Pediatrics, Gynaecology and Oncology.
